Galveston Island

We drove around thru Galveston.  I got off the car just a few times to take pictures; it was just too, too hot....

There are many many people out enjoying the beach today.

Our WWW Rally ended and everyone left the park today. I had not had a chance to update the WWW Blog....here goes! We had a wonderful time with everyone!

A Day in Galveston

After all the WWW Members left the Marina Bay RV Park, we headed to one of the restaurants we visited with them.  T-Bone Tom's has great food so we had lunch there.

 

We took his advise...."Smile!  It's going to be a great day!

We headed to Galveston Island.....passing thru Texas City.   This is a very nice drive.

 

 

Many many refineries on the way to Galveston...

The Gulf is very peaceful....

I thought these were pretty fancy, wavy highway barriers and light poles....

Just drove 25 miles and we were in Galveston...

An old, old cemetery but not as old as the one we saw in La Place, LA a couple of months ago.

We just took a lot of pictures before we got to the seawall area.....  Beautiful churches.

 

      

Then we took pictures of these beautiful homes....

The awesome looking Bishop's Palace.....would love to tour this another day.

 

 

the Moody Mansion is another I would like to visit....

 

I thought this was a home but actually, it was a funeral home....beautiful, too.  Not interested in visiting this one!!

A smaller home but nice, too.

I'm sure this will be beautiful once it is completed!

Small but cute!

I love looking at old homes.....more to come of the beach area.....

WWW Rally in Kemah, TX
