Thursday in Kerrville

Our drive to Kerrville was nice yesterday.  As we come down one of the hills, we spot this huge cross....

It stands beautifully on top of the hill....

Thanks to all of our Demontrond Travelers, we got a very good spot....

Thursday morning, we look out the window and to our surprise, we are getting a light rain!

Sharon came to show us a ring she made while in Branson.  Well, we had a gathering of interested Ladies.  Tomorrow, we will be beading a ring....

People scattered, gathered, and some traveled to Fredericksburg and others visited the local bead shop....

Janet and Samantha, her granddaughter.  Today she will leave and Karen will come.

Sami, Janet, Manuel and I had lunch at BG's on the River.(too much sunlight)

Late afternoon, I accompanied Janet to Boerne to drop off Sami and pick up Karen and her friend.

Before Teresa and Sam arrived, we had dinner at Mama Lisito's, pretty neat place.

Sunday with Family

We got a call from Manuel Jr. to go have lunch with them so we headed out to Pappacitos...

 

 

 

We then headed out to The Parade of Homes at the Dominion....

Katie Esparza's Grad Party

After our Red Hat Luncheon, Manuel and I drove to Mathis, Texas to join the family in celebrating Katie Esparza's High School Graduation.

We arrived a little early so we could visit with Peter and his family since we drove down for the day only.

The old sheet metal ice chest that used to belong to Manuel in his drinking years....

He passed it on to Peter many years ago and it is still in full use.  We were surprised to see it again.

This is one of the ice chests that keeps the drinks really cold.  It was made by Manuel's sheet metal co-workers at Kelly AFB.

June Red Hat Luncheon

This month, we are celebrating the June Birthdays, so I got to wear the purple hat that Janet gave me. 

Adela was not able to go to this luncheon, so Corina joined me.  It was nice to spend time with her.

 

We had a good group of ladies attend. 

Five of us are celebrating our birthdays in June...

Today, I remember My Mother who would have had a birthday....Miss you Mom!
