Third Stop was The Devil's Tower

Our Friend, Ed had recommended this site and we are so glad we went there. We traveled a few miles to Sundance, Wyoming and found this Monument to be very amazing.

In 1906, this was declared the nation's first national monument.

The drive there was gorgeous....

The tower in the background ... Oh, today I got my Senior Pass to all national parks. I am so happy about this. Finally get to claim one of my benefits!!

There are a bunch of ground hogs as you enter the park....They are sure fat!

Maybe these are going to have babies...but they are sure chubby!

Next Stop is Deadwood, SD

We both really liked this town. We parked at the Celebrity Hotel. We went in to the casino and played a little. Manuel played the first machine and at the third spin, it paid him $60. I lost $10. It was fun. Then we moved on to all the celebrity displays they had....no photos allowed, so no pics.

We had a great time here in Wild Bill Country!!

Our Stop in Sturgis, SD

We got an early start today as our plan is to visit several towns. We had a beautiful drive through the Black Hill National Forest. It was a very scenic drive and will post pictures of the scenes on my last post. We have heard so much about Sturgis and enjoyed our visit here.
