Girls Visit

Janet Comes To Visit

Janet Lambe came to stay with us for a week.  We had a great time with her.  She is so much fun to be with.

 

We did not do much while she was here as Manuel was not feeling well.  We had several doctor appointments but most of the time just sat out and enjoyed each other’s company.

It was very nice having Janet here.  Thanks, Janet! 

Back at The House

Even though the drizzle continued, we had an other egg hunt in our back yard.  The Girls keep Grandpa company while the eggs are being hidden.

We had a very good lunch and then it was time to just relax.  We sat the timer and took pictures.

We had an awesome day!  Such a special day!  We are blessed to have a wonderful family.

Easter Sunday

The weather did not cooperate today as we started off with drizzle.  We had a good breakfast then went to the park to have an egg hunt. 

We walked to the park again and Grandpa and Dad went ahead of us.  Dad hid all the eggs.

Dad got the job done and Larissa and Arianna are ready!

Grandpa has not been feeling well at all but he has been a real sport in joining us.  He will do anything with these Little Girls.

All eggs found…..    Oh, What Fun It Is!!!!   Back to the house for another egg hunt!

In The Kitchen

After cleaning up, we got to work in the kitchen.  They know the routine, I am just there to guide them.

They take turns adding ingredients…

and mixing…

and pouring the cupcakes….

They watch the cupcakes rise…..    They are on their knees but I remember when they would stand to watch them rise.  They have grown so much and so quick. 

Next, it is time to color the eggs….  They each pick three colors.

We are set and ready for tomorrow!!

We have had so much fun today. 

Saturday Before Easter Sunday

Larissa and Arianna came to spend the night on Saturday so that we could get our Easter Eggs colored and to make cupcakes, which we have done every year since they were little bitty girls.  We have enjoyed this tradition!

Before we did any of that, we first went to the playground to play for a while. 

I trail as they hurriedly walk towards the park…

They wait for me.

We are here.  They head to the slide and I head to the swing!

This area is booming…..growing a lot.

They are having fun and I really enjoy watching them have fun.

After about an hour, we head back to the house. 

Manuel Plants Roses

Manuel loves roses and decided to buy some.  He was feeling good so he planted a few.
