Mother's Day Celebration with Mom

Mom and I have been spending a lot of time together.  I took the following pictures of their celebration.

A moment of prayer....before the meal is served.

 

One of the Residents made the cake.  She used to work at a bakery.   It was very good.

 

 

Not too many men at these parties.  There are about 3 only.

They served some really good food.  Everyone enjoyed themselves.

Sylvia, a resident here, picked up a collection to give Angie, the manager, a gift.

We all had a great time.   Angie does do a lot for all of these elderly residents. 

Weekend in Kerrville

Saturday morning, after breakfast, we headed to the river to go fishing. Arianna anxiously waits for Grandpa to get her reel ready!

Charlie enjoys the outdoors, too.

Now we are fishing....they are super happy!  We brought our lunch to have a picnic here, too.

 

We've had no luck with fish so we try another area....

They see rocks and want to play throwing rocks into the river....done fishing for now.

This is such a nice park, we love the area because it has several a lot of things for the kids to do.

I decided to go get their bathing suits so they can go in and get their feet wet.

Now we are even happier....

It takes such little effort to make them so happy!   They splash each other & have so much fun!

            

 

If they are happy.....we are happy, too.  They are such a joy!

This time has been good for Manuel and I to just sit and relax and enjoy the girls at the same time.

Grandpa makes a trip back to the coach to get their sand pails...for rocks & shells.

All Lari needs is her two front teeth!!!!!  She looks so cute.

They are such busy little bodies.

While we were walking, we noted this tiny Smart car as it has been loaded for travel.   This is a beautiful RV and Trailer.

 

Sunday morning, we went to have breakfast at McD's.

We bought them some Barbies and they are so happy with them.

We gave them a chance to play a while....

We checked out at 12 and head back to San Antonio.  The girls are set to go, the Bird is in and Charlie is ready, too!

Two minutes on the road and Arianna is out....Lari plays with her laptop.

We had such a wonderful weekend in Kerrville.  We will have to come back when school is out.
