Ferry Ride to Port Aransas

We decided to take the Ferry to Port Aransas…

We decided on having lunch at FINS.

We ate on the patio and it was really nice out.  The food was good, too.

While Nancy and I take pictures around the area, the guys sit and wait for us.

You find all kinds and size boats here…

Okay, Guys, we are ready to go.

Look what was right outside the door!!  The owner said he weighted 170 pounds.

Snack time!   Candy of all kinds!

On the way home, we found this Navy ship docked and it looks abandoned!

What a nice time we had.

Big Tree and Goose Island

Goose Island State Park is about 5 miles away so we took a drive to see The Goose Island Oak.

This tree is very old!                           This is so well said…..

Driving Around Rockport/Fulton

Rockport is a very nice small town….

A local Artist recreated the Crab that used to be on the roof of a local restaurant….

Many sail boats and shrimp boats here.

This is George’s car GPS holder invention….  He says he can even wear it but where does he plug it?!!!

  

He is too funny!  We had so many laughs about this.

Beautiful homes/boats in the area, too.

Nancy spotted what looked like a snake head as we stopped in this area so George has to poke/tease what ever is in there!

We had a great day today.
