We attended Grandparents Day at Wilderness Oak with Arianna and Larissa.

We first visited with Arianna.  Peeked through the door window and found her and others doing their daily morning exercise.  In the hallway, each student drew a self portrait of themselves….

We were so excited to be there with her and she was excited to see us.  What a difference a year has made.  Last year when we came, she saw us and she began to cry and of course, I cried too!  She told us she thought we were not coming.   This year, she knew we were coming to visit with her….

Arianna is in the 1st Grade and she is loving school.

She had a project to work on while we were there.  I helped her!

We had made plans to have lunch with the girls, too.  They wanted WhatABurger for lunch so we brought that.

Arianna runs as she sees us waiting in the cafeteria.

She also showed us around her room and they had a project for us to work with them in class.  We enjoyed that!

Back To Fort Sam Houston

We came back from Canyon Lake on Monday.  On Tuesday, Manuel was not feeling well and began running fever.  He had completed 5 days of chemo and when the fever got higher did not go away, I decided to take him to the ER at BAMMC.  They decided to monitor him for these fevers and kept him for a day and a half.  Long hours at the hospital….

We could see the FamCamp from his hospital room.

The release took a few hours and he was sick of being in bed.  The girls, who had come spend the night with me, took over the bed…
