Janet came over to spend a few days with us. We were so happy to see her since we had not seen her in a few months.
We got her all parked and set up in our back yard.
We sat out and visited for a good while. It sure is nice to have her here.
We got ready to play some Train as we were all having withdrawal ....not having played in a few months.
Look what she brought with her. She is a Red Hat Lady in Conroe but she brought me some of her hats, jewelry and t-shirt.
I will post more pictures of our Red Hat Luncheon. She was my guest at that gathering.
They wait while I speak to the people over at the Blazing Star RV Park....we will be hosting a Rally there for the WWWs.
Back at the house, we have a picnic at the back patio....beautiful day out.
Later that evening, we paid a visit to the Castroville Dairy Queen...... What an interesting plant.
I wonder what the name of this plant is. I had never seen it before...
As we were sitting on the patio of DQ, this little boy drove up in his bike and just parked it here. Interesting that he parked in this space and not on the sidewalk....
On Sunday, we went to Lackland AFB to have their champagne brunch.... then just rode around the base. Very nice VW camper and bug at the Lackland FamCamp....
Then on to the 433rd TAW where Manuel used to work. These are the huge C-5 Galaxy.
More to come.

Hi Connie: That bush is a Bottle Brush. We have about 10 along the side of our house in Fresno. The humming birds love them and nest there too. But they are messy. Love your blog. Hope we cross paths again. We will start the Natchez Trace Friday from the Natchez end.
