Today, we packed a picnic lunch and headed to the beach. We ate, then Nancy and I walked along the beach, getting our feet wet. The water was nice, warm and we really enjoyed our long walk.
Seagulls were everywhere, especially where there is food.
Manuel relaxed; he even took a nap and George read a book.
What a beautiful place to relax. I truly enjoyed myself here.
There are many people fishing on the jetties…
Nice sand dunes.
Beautiful sail boat.
Nancy enjoyed it as much as I did. There was quite a bit of sea weed.
We came across this flip flop that came ashore….a lot of growth on it!
We watched this guy go out to parasail. He fought the waves until he got to where he rode the waves.
That looks like fun but also looks like a lot of work.
We walked and walked….
All kinds of birds here….they seem to be eating something off the sea weed.
The babes are out!
A look back at the pavilion where Manuel and George are relaxing.
I wished this guy would be cleaning off the sea weed but I guess he has orders to gather the sand.
Love the waves.
Back at the pavilion, George is ready to fly off with the tablecloth….
This statue “The Fisherman’s Christ” is just beautiful. Overlooks the ocean!
We had a great time! More to come…
