Janet's Birthday Weekend

Manuel and I decided to make a trip to Spring, TX to celebrate and spend some time with Janet.  We got there at noon on Friday. It was great seeing Janet.

We visited, ate, played Mexican Train and had such a great time.  She has been super busy but has made time to make belts, has been beading, crocheting and has just stayed very busy.

If anyone has tabs, please send them to her as soon as you can.  She is out of 'em and needs more....thanks everyone.

Yes, she has made every color you can think of and every size, too.  She has done a beautiful job...

We laughed, cried and just enjoyed our time together. 

She had been talking to Gilbert regarding RVs so, here we go to check one out he just received.  I will not tell you what it is so she can surprise everyone when she does decide on what to get....It is beautiful though.

Manuel was ready for the mechanical questions....

Okay, a little of the driving instruction....

We are all set and Gilbert drives the rig out of the parking lot...

Does she look nervous?  Not a bit....she took it like she had been driving it for a long time.

Great job!

After driving the back roads, she is ready for the freeway and is very confident!

Heading back to the dealership, I thought she was going to get in a race with this other rig but she held back!!

The rig is beautiful and she did a great job driving, so I think she is ready!  She will keep us posted.

After that, we headed out to storage to see what needed to be removed from the Phaeton to place on the new rig, if and when she gets it....

We left at noon Sunday and sure hated to leave her but will see her at the September Rally.  Great Great Weekend!
