I have finally made time to catch up with my posting. I have been kind of lazy and today was the day to do this.
The day after Christmas, we headed out to Montgomery, TX for a WWW Rally. Here are a few pictures; I did not take many this time… I will be using some of George, Club President’s pictures…. Thank you, George.
All we do is play games, socialize and eat! We all have a great time!
Don & Karen West, Dave and Linda Ellisor, and Lynn and Carla Roberts. Great job, Guys!
Before our meeting, we Pledge Alligence to the Flag.
Phil Roberts, Our Retired Air Force Member, holds the Flag.
New Year’s Eve, we had pot luck and played games. We had so much fun!
I could not enlarge George’s pics without them getting blurry….you get the idea, though.
We are are Fajita Jack’s….great food and awesome camaraderie.
We even had karaoke with Bobby and Janie dancing! So glad to see him feeling better!
Dave and Lynn say, “Okay we have eaten and we are ready to go!” Where are the wives?
We got home on New Year’s Day. We had a great time, as always!
We had a little worry while we were gone as we had an incident with the Coach and the Fence! I think Manuel wanted to take the gate with him but it hesitated! As we were driving out (we did not pull the SUV this time) the gate, we stopped to make sure the gate closed but we did not pull up far enough and when the gate was closing, it hooked on to the tow bar and we started to take off with the gate hooked on….. He stopped right away but we still dragged the gate about 2 feet! I could not believe what I saw when I got out to check and Manuel was so pissed at himself when he saw the damage. There was nothing we could do about this so we worked on getting the gate back on the rail to be able to close and open it. So the day after we got back we went to see the guy that does welding for us…..
Thank God there was no damage to the coach, just the tow bar…
They came on the 3rd and welded it all back. They put the stars just the way they used to be….Great Job!
Manuel paces out in the cold….
Manuel really felt bad about this but like he says, shit happens!
