The Ellisors and Roberts left The Rally early this morning. They are heading back home. The Beckhams left a few hours later and they were headed to Savannah, Georgia. We decided to stay one more day. We went to breakfast at Bob Evans. The Srutkas introduced us to this restaurant when we travel down to Key West a few years ago. We had an awesome breakfast.
With the Roberts’ Phaeton gone, we have a lot of space next to us.
Across the street, The Ellisors have left, too. The Beckhams were still here.
We rode the tram to the Tent again today. Many of the RVs are gone but there are still a bunch here.
We visited the Progressive RV. Manuel won a t-shirt and I won a little ice chest and deck of cards
on their spin the wheel game. We then took a picture with Flo…
They have a big display of Tiffins here. They are really pretty.
They had a Tribute to Veterans and they encouraged Vets to dress in their uniforms. This Air Force Veteran still fits in his uniform. He is a Chief Master Sgt.
They had 4 old planes fly over….
The Missing Man/Pilot formation…
Janet and I went back to the RV and then here comes Manuel…
Later in the evening, we wait for the firework display which is at the lake right behind our coach. We were one of the first to be there. I set the timer and took this picture…
Our coach is right behind us…
The Lake looks really nice. There is a guy fishing and people walking through this nice area. The stadium is to the left.
The sun has set….
Finally, the fireworks!!
This has been a great rally. We have had a very nice time and enjoyed all of the events. We enjoyed our time with the Ellisors, Roberts and Beckhams. Tomorrow morning we will move on to Tallahassee for a couple of days. Manuel plans to leave really early to beat the crowd out of here, so we will see what time that is.
More to come…
