Saturday morning we took it easy as it was kind of cool. At about 1 pm, we went to the Castroville Park for some fun.
We discovered that all of the pecan trees have dropped the pecans…
As I am picking pecans, Grandpa is cracking them and they just loved the pecans.
They play some more…
We then take the trail down to the Medina River.
Grandpa sits on a tree trunk and waits for us at the edge of the river.
They are enjoying throwing rocks into the river.
Charlie has to smell each tree trunk!!
A huge fallen tree….
Of course, they have to walk on it.
Back up the trail…..Arianna wants to take the other trail.
There she goes.
Another huge tree that has grown sideways.
We have had a wonderful time at the park today. We are all hungry now so we will make a stop at the local DQ.
