Memorial Weekend with Girls

My brother, Jesse, came in from Corpus to spend time with mom so we decided we'd pick up the girls for some fun time.   On Friday afternoon, after picking up the girls, we went by to spend time with mom then headed home with the girls.  Friday night we played games, colored and watched movies.

Grandpa made breakfast for us as we slept late.  Then we got dressed to go swimming at the Castroville Pool.  The girls sport their new swim suits....

     

We packed a picnic lunch and headed out.  They are so excited and ready for some fun!

     

We saw this sign in the front yard of one of the Castroville residents and thought we'd take a picture.  Hummmmm!  Wonder if that is all he/she wants!?

The water was nice and refreshing...the day is pretty hot (about 90).

I take a break and grandpa joins the girls..

We repeated the evening by playing dominos, coloring and watching the movie "RV".  They loved the movie or at least Lari did since Arianna fell asleep.

Sunday morning we got up late and headed to the Egg and I for breakfast.   Dad called to let us know he was coming to pick up the girls so he met us at the restaurant.

They are excited to see dad but did not want to go home yet.  They wanted to spend Sunday night with us.

We say our good bye's and they headed home. 

      

We had a wonderful time with our Girls.  Will try to pick them up again next weekend. 

A Day With Granddaughters

We have had a very busy week  with Mom being in the hospital but took Saturday to enjoy Larissa and Arianna.   Lari's Friend, Nicole had a birthday party so we took them to this swimming party. The girls had a lot of fun and we enjoyed them a lot.

Mother's Day

Veronica opened the San Francisco Steakhouse for Mother's Day Brunch.   We met there at 11 am.

Yep, we brought them home with us.   They love the swings grandpa made.....

We did the bubble thing, then ate watermelon.  ummmmm!

What a great day!   Veronica and Manuel came by to pick them up that evening but not before I bathed them so Lari would be ready for bed.   She has school tomorrow.
