Jesse Aleman’s Retirement Party

On Saturday, we drove to Odem, Texas to celebrate our Brother, Jesse’s retirement.  After 41 years of working at Holt Caterpillar, he is ready to move on to the next chapter in his life.  Last year, he was presented with a Pioneer Award as he was one of several employees to start with this company.  He is very proud of this company and of all that he learned there.  We on the other hand, are so proud of our only brother.  You are the very best, Brother.  Love you very much!

There was so much food here.  It was all delicious.  There were also several desserts and it was all great!

It was good to see Mark Martinez.  He tells us he already misses my brother.  They are very close friends!

Two Loves of My Life!

My niece, Eliza set the timer on her phone and took our picture.  All family and friends having a great time.

Manuel and the girls were to drive back to San Antonio but he was talked into letting them stay with us.  We stayed at the Corpus Christi Naval Air Station.  We made a quick stop at Walmart for night clothes and were set.  Also picked up some table games and had a great night!  Corina brought Quincy with her so he came to visit us in the room.  Ari found the perfect night shirt.

A big Thank You to Alma & Raul for the hospitality.  The party was great!  Love you all a bunch!

Grandparents Day at TMI

Larissa invited us to Grandparents Day at the Texas Military Institute where she attends the 7th Grade.  We gladly attended.  Here a few of the pictures I took. 

Just as we were parking, Lari met us on her way to the library.  Awesome surprise! 

    

She went on to the Library and we headed to the cafeteria to begin our day…

They had a table of pastries, coffee, juices and fruit so we had a nice start.  We enjoyed the presentations put on by the staff and also presentations of some students.  They told us of their experiences at this awesome school.

After all that, it was time for lunch with our Grandchild!  We headed to the Gym where they had a beautiful set up.  I forgot to take pictures there.  oops!  Was having too good of a time with My Lari.

We then took turns taking pictures with Lari’s friend, Jessica and her Grandparents.
