Williams, Ellisors, & Roberts Visit

This morning we received a call from Carla Roberts and she said they were in Ingram and would like to come for a visit.  We made plans to meet at the Hungry Horse in Boerne.  It was so nice seeing these Houston Area RV Friends!  That made our day!

We had not seen these friends in over a year and sure have missed seeing them.  Today was great!

Aleman Family Gathering

Today was a very special day.  We had been meaning to gather with all my siblings but with several family illnesses, we had not been able to do so.  After several postponements, today was the day.

My Sister, Carmen, traveled from Brownsville. My Sister, Josie and Husband, Ramiro traveled from Driscoll.  My Sister, Alma and Husband, Raul traveled from Corpus Christi, and My Brother Jesse and Wife, Berta traveled from Corpus Christi and Sister, Dolores and Husband, Rey are from San Antonio.  Since they all made it a day trip, we had lunch here at our home and had a few hours of just catching up.  We had an awesome time together; just like we used to when all of our kids used to be small.  Time just gets so busy for all of us and today, we just all made time to get together.

Our Aunt/Sister, Mary who lives in Ft. Worth was unable to attend.  We sure missed her.

Visitors at Hospital

Manuel went into hospital with very high fever, pain and other problems.  After 3 days of antibiotic treatment, he was feeling better.  On Saturday, we had a lot of family come visit.  Robert, his younger brother came from Austin to spend some time with him.  Then my brother, Jesse and two of my sisters also came to visit.  We took a few pictures.  Lighting was not the best but this is the best I could do.  We got a nurse to take pictures for us.

Rey, Alma, Dolores, Corina, Manuel, Jesse, Me, and Raul.  We had such a nice visit.

Easter

We celebrated Easter on Saturday.  We were invited to Norma and Frank’s, Manuel’s youngest sister.  All of Manuel’s siblings got together there except for the oldest Brother.  We had a lot of family and it is always neat to get to see Family.  Here are a few pictures….

Preparing Easter Goodies

On Friday evening, Larissa, Arianna, and I started preparing the food we would take to the Easter Event.  We prepped the Sausage, a pot of Beans, colored eggs and filled eggs for the hunt.  We made cupcakes.  We had so much fun doing this and as Lari says, “This is tradition that we do all this for Easter!”  Of course, I love this time we have together.  We have so many memories of all we do together.
