Heading To Kerrville with Granddaughters

We headed out at about 10 am to pick up Arianna.  The skies were very dark and we were sure it would pour on us. 

It sprinkled but then it cleared up and we had a nice sunny but cool day.

Arianna was ready and waiting for us.   She rushed to the door to meet Grandpa....

We were all so happy to see each other.

Arianna then introduces us to their sister, Pickles (The talking Parrot).  Yes, she is going camping, too!

     

Cute Pickles....                                                Then we head out to school to pick up Lari early.

     

She was very happy to see us, too!  She had drawn some pictures for us...

We load up Pickles in the small cage and.....

Charlie, our Yorkie and Arianna are all set to go...

Lari rides in the front with Grandpa and I sit with Arianna.   They are excited to go camping.

Within an hour, we are at the park and ready to ride the scooters.

We pose for a picture.....

Then to the park playground.

    

On to the Guadalupe River.

We have dinner then head out to get a snow cone.

      

   

We go for a walk....

In for the evening, all showered and ready to color and more....

Tomorrow, Saturday, we will go fishing....

Home At Last!

We  got home yesterday and first thing this morning, we went to spend the day with my mom.  She was so happy to see us and it was wonderful visiting with her.  I did not want to leave her alone for a couple of nights so I will be spending the nights with her before we head out on Friday with Larissa and Arianna.  I took Manuel home at about 5  pm and returned to stay with Mother.  She was so happy I wanted to spend the night with her.  If that makes her happy, that is what I want.

I set the timer and took our photo as we had our slumber party!!  When her provider arrives at 8 am, I will go home and then return tomorrow afternoon again to stay with her.  I brought my laptop to show her all the pictures of our vacation and she just thought it was the best thing ever.

Now for Mondays pictures....The Lambes head out right before us.   We had breakfast with the Lambes, Fosters and Bissons before heading out.

We passed several nurseries on our way.   Everything looks so green.

We did not see any blue bonnets but there sure are a lot of other colorful flowers.....and a lot of bugs, too.   Our windshield is pretty dirty but we still enjoyed the wild flowers.

As we pass by Lackland AFB, a huge C-5 flies overhead....

It sure is good to arrive at home....everything is in bloom and green.  No yard to mow!  Enjoy the flowers at our home!

      

      

      

      

      

      

The guy that does our yard while we are away has done a good job.   All the leaves are picked up, too.

      

Manuel gets in the lawn mower and goes to open our water back up....

He washes the front of the Coach and puts it in storage for at least 4 days, when we will head out to Kerrville with the granddaughters.

Until next time!  It sure is good to be home.  I guess I am not really ready for full-timing....
