Veronica and Larissa were in the San Antonio Express News last Sunday, July 18. They were in Section H-3, Taste/Food section. We wanted to share a link to it but I could never get a link so I took a picture of the article. You may need to enlarge the picture to read the article. Arianna was also supposed to be in the session but she backed out the very last minute. She was camera shy! Enjoy!
Now I am all caught up with my posting.
Last Saturday, Jacob, My Nephew, called to invite us to his home for a cook out. They just purchased their new home. They have a very beautiful home. Jacob and Melody pose for me.
Jacob is hard at work, cooking in 100 degree weather. At least he has some shade, beautiful Oak Trees.
Their cousin, Roel Aleman and brother, Jason watch him cook.

We did not have a birthday cake but one of the guests brought cupcakes and since we did not have candles, Albert gets very creative. We all sing Happy Birthday to Corina.

We have had a very busy week. The girls went home with Manuel and we will see them again next week.
We arrived from Houston and got a call from Peter and Family that they were in town and wanted to stop by. We had a wonderful visit. Jennifer and Katy watch as Peter tells us all about their Great Smoky Mountain trip.
It is so good to see them all. We had not seen them since Oscar passed away.

On Monday, we picked up Larissa and Arianna to come stay with us for a few days. While in Houston, JoAnn Srutka gave me a bunch of children's books for the girls. the Girls are loving the books.
JoAnn, you have made them so happy with these books. They each pick one book a night and Lari reads it to us.
Then outside for some fun....Grandpa fixes one of the swings which broke. They wait patiently.
Lari has just learned to jump rope and is doing a good job!!
