Girls Spend Two Nights With Us!

 

We picked up Larissa and Arianna on Thursday afternoon.  Lari does not have school on Friday since all S. A. schools are closed due to the BIG Fiesta Parade.

We decided to bring them to Lackland AFB since the playground here is really nice and big.

We had our picnic lunch and they are just having fun....

Break time....it is kind of hot out today.

On the way home, we made a quick stop at the DQ in Castroville....

As I was watering our yard, they decided to just get wet....

clothes, shoes and all wet...what fun!

As they dried, they hoola hooped...

What to do next.

As it got dark on us, we all bathed and then got our lessons on our ipads from Lari.  They are both so good with them. 

They downloaded some games for me.....all were free.   We all had fun comparing scores as we played.

Tomorrow we will take them home so they can spend time with Mom and Dad.  We sure had a great weekend.  Time went by too fast for us.

Special Time with Lari & Ari

On Tuesday afternoon, after our WWW Rally, we went to spend some time with Larissa and Arianna.   We took them their halos that we bought at the Market Square.  They are now ready for Fiesta!

   

We took them to dinner and then headed out to the Park.....

   

We had not seen them in about a week and a half so we had missed them and they missed us....

On our way home from the park, we made a stop at their favorite place. 

Lari had school the following day so we took them back home but before we left, they gave me an early Mother's Day gift. 

I got an ipad.   They gave me a quick run down and when I got home, I registered for a class at the Apple Store.  

I attended one class but want to attend more.  There is so much you can do with this ipad so I have a lot to learn....

We had an awesome time with the Girls.  We asked them to come spend the night on the weekend so we will see....

Hamburger Dinner With The WWWs

This morning, the Host Team made breakfast for our group but I was not able to stay.  I got there and did a little but then felt so sick to my stomach.  I had to go to the coach.  I felt really light headed and just got rid of my Mexican food.....ugh!

Gisele, Phil and Manuel did all the cooking.  They served scrambled eggs, pancakes and sausage patties along with coffee and OJ.  They all said it was great....Sorry I missed it.

Many of the folks went to San Antonio Shoe Factory and most of them bought the shoes, some bought purses, etc.  They returned at about noon and we just sat out and socialized.  The Franklins and Welches went out to the San Antonio Missions....not sure how many they visited.

By 5 p.m., we headed to the rally room to begin dinner, which was very simple:  Hamburgers with and without cheese, and all the trimmings and chips with iced tea.

George, Our President, was the first in line, as it should be.

Phil and Gisele, Manuel and I hosted this rally and we got a lot of help from Janet Lambe.

Thank you all so much!  We shall do it again.....

Everyone enjoyed the burgers!  This has been such a great week!   The weather was great, too.  It was nice and cool.  No rain, though.

We said our Good-byes to many of the WWWs as they will leave early in the morning.  Others will meet for breakfast at Crackel Barrel.

Janet and Sharon will hit the road to Red Bay tomorrow for some repairs on their rigs.....Be careful, girls.

Pot Luck Dinner at the Park

After a day out on the town, we gathered at The Blazing Star RV Resort Rally Room for a Pot Luck Dinner.

Phil and Gisele Roberts are hosting with Manuel and I.  Janet Lambe gave us some guidance, too.

All the food brought was delicious.....

So were the desserts.....

 

Manuel and I have had such a nice time hosting this rally....things have run pretty smooth.

Linda and Dave created the WWW Rally Board.  Pretty neat!
