Girls 1st Day of School

Larissa and Arianna were really excited about their first day of school.  We were not able to be there in the morning as Manuel had doctor's appointments but we were there waiting for them in the afternoon when the bus got there.

Juanita and I walked a little uphill to wait for the bus...

Finally, the bus gets here....

First one out, Lari!  She looks like she had a good day.

Arianna looks super happy, too.  They are in a hurry to tell us all about their day!

Juani sure missed her today....

They are so excited about their first school day.

They said the ride on the bus was so hot....they are changing.

They are showing us what work they did today.

Then it is ice cream time!

Visit with Robert Esparza Jr. and Family

On Monday, Robert Jr and his family came to San Antonio from Virginia where he serves in the Coast Guard.  His family and Manuel Jr and the girls went to Schlitterbaun in New Braunfels.  In the evening, we got together with them at the Old San Francisco Steak House for dinner.  We had a great time and it is always good to see family.

Liza, Arnold, Olivia and Isabel from Austin also came to visit....

Spending Time with Girls

We left Junction late this morning and arrived at Johnson Creek RV Park by 11.  We were only 30 miles away so it was a quick drive here.  We started our vacation at this park in early June  after our WWW gathering and this is where we will end it on Thursday.  Manuel Jr. and Veronica came to see us and to drop Larissa and Arianna for a few days here with us.  We are so  happy to see them.  We have been gone two and a half months and sure missed them.

 

As soon as Mom and Dad left, we were ready to go for a swim...

Just as we went out at 4 pm here come the Axis.  There are two dogs chasing them around....

We are enjoying this!

Oh, this is so refreshing...

This is such a beautiful park....love those huge oak trees.

We just love this park....it is only our second time here but sure enjoy ourselves here.

The girls wanted snow cones so off we went.  We also needed groceries.

Arianna fell asleep on the drive so she is really tired.

While here, they decided to eat and have ice cream. 

The sun is setting as we drive to Ingram .....back to the coach.
