They keep changing the closing date on us so I will not mention the date. It should be soon, though. Final touches being done.
More pictures to come!
We are both retired and enjoy traveling. We set up this blog to let our family and friends know what we are up to as we travel the highways of the USA.

We will now go to Larissa’s Party!
Larissa and Arianna came to spend the weekend with us. They love to go to the parade grounds for picnics so since it was a beautiful day out, we headed to that area. Like I always say “it takes so little to make them happy!”
We spent a few hours out there and we all enjoyed our time together.
This monument is new to the grounds. It is a tribute to the Military Working Dogs and this monument is a National Monument. It is a very beautiful monument….
A Soldier and his Companion stop for a water break. Beautiful bronze sculpture!
Several squadrons of soldiers paraded/marched the area. The girls really enjoyed watching them.
We headed back to the FamCamp. Another great weekend with two beautiful girls!
We have enjoyed the last few months here at Lackland FamCamp. Yesterday, we enjoyed the Super Bowl at the NCO Club. They had free food and entertainment (DJ)… They had a raffle at every quarter and Manuel won the 3rd quarter raffle. He won a $100 Visa gift card. Not bad!!!!
He watches the game…
Last week was a pretty cold few days! We woke up to an icy motorhome one day!!!!
BBBrrrrrrr!!!!
When we had the Girls over, they stayed warm and cozy!
I spotted this awesome looking RV with New Jersey license plates here at the park and took some pics. Then as we were watching the 10 o’clock news on TV, they were interviewing the lady that owns it. She is on a mission through out the United States to spread the ashes of her husband, Military retiree, who passed away last year of cancer. She thought she would visit the areas they had been to together and that he liked the best. Very Interesting!
We attended the monthly club member appreciation dinner. They served a delicious meal, dessert and drinks. What a treat!
We have also been attending the Bar Bingo held every Wednesday evening at the club. We have also enjoyed this. They also serve a free meal here. We have gotten use of our Club Card in the past few months. It has been great!
The house is moving right along. It is almost complete! It has been 8 months that we have been living in the motorhome and it has been good for us. I know once we get moved in to our home, we will miss the motorhome living, I THINK!!!
Until next time! Don’t know when that will be!!!!
