Lari's First Softball Game

Today, was Lari's first softball game at TMI.  I enjoyed this game.  She is learning the game but did well.

First time to bat so the Coach gives her a few pointers.  The ball hits her so she is walked.  Got to 3rd!  Great game!  They did not win but they all worked hard.... Very proud of Lari!

Time in The Valley

We took an overnight trip to the Brownsville area for a Friend's funeral.  We attended the rosary in Donna, TX then in the morning, we visited the Basilica de La Virgin de San Juan.  It is always a blessing to visit the beautiful church.  I told Manuel, I would love to spend a whole day at this church and the grounds as it is so peaceful here.  Maybe next time. 

 We went to visit my sister, Carmen who lives in Brownsville.  We went to lunch and met Louie there.

 Back in town, a few days later we went to a Quincianera and had a great time.  Here we are with our Goddaughter, Krista. 

Ari's Valentine Party

I attended Arianna's 3rd Grade Valentine Party.  We had a great time.  Always fun helping the room mother at school.  She is always so happy that we attend these parties.

They started to play games.  It is the Girls against the Boys.    The Girls won this game.  They had to unwrap a Hershey Kiss and pass gloves on to the next person.  

Arianna and I went shopping for crafts to decorate her box.  We had fun.  She did a great job!

 She had a lot of Valentines from all of her Friends.  She is so Happy!  This makes me Happy, too.
