The Fun Begins

We stayed at the Emerald Grande at Harbor Walk Village/Wyndham Hotel.  We took pictures while Manuel checks in.

     

Time to check out the pool area…

We went swimming for a while.  They had an indoor pool with nice warm water so we tried the outdoor pool first, then the indoor and then the hot tub.  Really nice and relaxing.

The girls had bunk beds and like most kids, they both wanted the top bunk.  They compromised to take turns sleeping on the top bunk.  They were happy!  They are getting ready to go to dinner at the Harbor Walk Village which is right outside the hotel.

McGuire's  Irish Pub had music nightly so it was very entertaining.

Drive to Destin, FL

We enjoyed the ride into Destin.  It is so nice to have a driver!

We made it!  Girls are really excited and so is Grandma!!!

Our Our Way To Florida

We left the house at 6 am this morning and our first stop will be Bucees in Luling.  Then on to Coushatta Casino in Kinder, LA.  We were able to get a complimentary night at the Seven Clans Hotel.  We were at the hotel by noon.  Had a very nice room with this view.

  

Manuel and The Girls headed to the water park on the casino grounds and Grandpa and I headed to the casino to have some fun.  Grandpa did good and I, as always only had fun….

The kids enjoyed the pool, spa and water slide. 

We all got together for dinner at the buffet and had a great meal.  Then Manuel and the girls headed to Kids Quest and we headed back to casino for more gaming. 

We called it a nite early to be ready to hit the road at about 9 am.  So far, great day!  Manuel has felt good.  I think we needed a road trip!!

4th Of July With Family

The Esparza Family gathered at Frank & Norma’s home.  All siblings gathered except for the oldest Brother, Israel. We had pot luck and as always we had a lot of food and all was delicious.  We all had a great time.

We all just sat around, played and just visited with each other.

Of course, the usual horse shoe tournament happened.

We all sat out in the backyard and enjoyed the beautiful display of fireworks.  Great job, Guys!

I am taking care of Quincy this weekend as Corina is traveling and this morning while I was doing some packing for our trip to Florida, Quincy was keeping a very close eye on me.  He knows something is going on…..so cute!

  

We had a great day with family today and enjoyed every minute of it!  Tomorrow we will leave to Destin, FL with Manuel and the Girls and we are looking forward to it.
