Janet has been enjoying her time with her family and is by now getting used to the cold weather, I think! She says it has been in the teens there. She tries to stay busy and Vicki says she tries to keep her out of trouble!!!!!

Friday, we picked up Larissa and Arianna at school and headed to Bass Pro Shop to visit Santa.
We arrived and got our pass for our 4 pm visit with him. Since we had time, we had dinner at the Islamorada Restaurant, which we have done since the girls were little. Manuel Jr. joined us for dinner there. It was all great!

We all enjoy visiting Santa’s Wonderland every year….
They did not allow picture taking while the girls visit with Santa but I had already taken these two. Could not get a clear shot of Santa.
They took turns talking to Santa and they enjoyed that!
After the visit, we continued on our way at Santa’s Wonderland….

These Girls have such a great time here and We have a great time watching them, too.

Thursday afternoon, we attended Larissa’s concert at the same nursing home where they performed last year.
As we waited for Manuel to arrive with the girls, I took pictures of the area. They have the place really decorated for Christmas. Each resident door and entrance is nicely decorated.

Each of the students walked around and introduced themselves to each resident. The residents just love these children visits.

After the performance, Manuel Jr. took us to dinner at The Corner Bakery.
We will see the girls again tomorrow as we will take them to our traditional Bass Pro Shop visit with Santa.
This week, we spent one night at Blazing Star as we had to be out of Lackland FamCamp. The park is nicely decorated for Christmas. I took a few pictures while here.
I sure miss having a home to decorate this year. Really looking forward to decorating next year….
