New Year's Eve

I had not had a chance to update my blog but thought today was a good day since it is so cold out and we have no appointments nor anything else going on. 

We ended the old year and started the new year at Manuel's youngest Sister, Norma and Frank's home, a few homes up the street from where we live. Norma's three daughters and their families were there; Terry & Joe Green from Corpus and Alicia & Mauro Longoria from here and two of their daughters were there with kids and grandkids.  We had a great time.  What a wonderful way to start the New Year...with family.

Everyone relaxes waiting for the New Year; others are outside popping fireworks....it is cold out!  We had so much food as everyone brought something!

It is a few minutes before midnight so we head outside for fireworks.... They have a bunch of them.

I could not take many of the fireworks but it was a beautiful display!!
