Saturday and Sunday at the Rally

We started our morning at 9 am with breakfast then our business meeting.  Janet conducted the meeting and will finish out George's term, as President.  Cecilia gave her report as Secretary.  We had a really good meeting.

 

We were presented with the Host Ribbon as we hosted this rally as did Art and Shirley Buckert.

After the meeting, Cecilia gave us lessons on making bracelets....

She had some nice ones done and we made silver ones...

After a while of beading, we decided to go into Spring's Bead Shop.  They have nice shops in Spring.

They are also having an antique car show here....beautiful cars.

Manuel Jr. bought himself a 1961 Impala in 1992.  It was beautiful....just like this one.

Back at the park, we continued with our beading until it was time to go to dinner.  Here we are At Furr's waiting in line.

Janet finished her bracelet, so did Shirley and Karen.  I took a little longer but ...

I finished it, too.  Here it is.  So pretty.  Will plan on making more in other colors.

September Lone Star Allegro Rally

We have spent the week at Rayford Crossing RV Resort. Our Rally began when several of the coaches arrived...with many friends and some new folks. 

Several folks arrived on Thursday....and the fun began...

Cecilia drove in today and Reg will be in tomorrow....and she brought Janet a bunch of tabs...several gallon bags!  Oh, was she excited!

We piled them up to take a picture of them....Keep them coming!

More of the folks have arrived  and we are doing what we do best....sit around and visit.

Janet can hardly wait to get her hands on those tabs so she started working on her belts.

It has been so nice to have Janet stay with us these past two rallies....We have had some fun!

Friday afternoon, Reg is checking to make sure Cecilia got everything hooked up correctly.

Social hour before dinner....

Dave and Sharon Foster came over for Pot Luck.  They brought a lot of smoked chicken and sausage.  Everyone sets out their dish.

  The long line forms....We have 8 coaches present at this rally and three of those are guests.

 

We have had a great time so far.  More to come Saturday & Sunday!
