Port San Antonio

Today, we took a drive to Port San Antonio, which used to be Kelly AFB.  We wanted to check on military flights (hops) to Hawaii.  They have three flights this month but will wait for next month since we have so much going on in September.  These flights are free to military and retired personnel and they are on the huge C-5.  We got on the travel roster and are set for next month.  Will see what comes up then...

While there, we passed by this park and Manuel says, "When I worked here, I bought one of those bricks in 1995." Since he never checked to see if the brick was placed, we stopped to try to find it.

This is the General Dynamics/Boeing Building.  This is a Navy Fighter.

The F-111.  Manuel worked on these when he worked at General Dynamics in Ft. Worth in 1970.
