Penny Trevino Comes To Visit

Cousin, Penny Trevino who lives in Virginia Beach, VA, had been in Houston visiting with her late husband's family and called us to see if we were home so she could come see us.  We headed headed downtown San Antonio to pick her up at the bus station.  I am excited that she is in San Antonio.

There are all kinds of musicians here and she asked this Trio if they knew a certain Spanish song.  They did, so they sang it....

Penny really enjoys Mariachi music, as did her late husband, David.  My Cousin, David, passed away in 2001.

On our way out of the restaurant, I had her pose several times for me.  Here, she is in front of a mural that includes, Vicente Fernandez, Vicky Carr, Eva Longoria and I believe, Alejandro Fernandez.....

We had a great time this evening.  Penny will only stay one night but we really enjoyed her visit here.  This is the first time I have met Penny but have been in touch with her via phone, FB, email and The Trevino Family Tree which she and her daughter, Lottie, have created.  She knows more of the Trevino Family (My Mother was a Trevino) than I know.  I love talking with her because it is good to learn about our family roots....

Thank you, Penny for your visit and hope to see each other again.
