On December 18th, Manuel and I made a two night trip to Coushatta Casino in Kinder, Louisiana.
Our first stop, of course was at Buc-ee's….
We made a one night stay in Houston with our Good Friend, Janet Lambe. We had invited her to come with us to Coushatta but she could not make it this time. She invited us to stay with her to make our trip more restful and we did. We got to Houston early and she had planned a night out to dinner with some very special friends. We had a delicious dinner with Great RV Friends!

The next day, we headed out to Louisiana. We made a quick stop at the brand new casino, Golden Nugget in Lake Charles. We thought it was a very nice casino but spent very little time there. We reported back to our friends that they are working on a small RV park right by this casino. Maybe we will spend more time here next time.
We then got to Coushatta early and once we settled in to our room at the Seven Clans, we went down to the casino to play games. We had a very nice time especially since Manuel did really good the first couple of hours after arriving.
That evening, I attended a Christmas Show they had at the casino. It was free and while Manuel played his 3 Card Poker I Enjoyed Ryan Pelton perform. He was great and did all Elvis songs. Great Show!
We left on Saturday afternoon and really enjoyed our trip away. Now back home to get ready for Christmas!!
