Today we drove 40 miles to Hoover Dam. We were very interested in seeing the finished bridge we had seen being built a few years ago...
Lake Mead in sight...
This place has had so many changes...it is so touristy now...
We got a very close parking in the garage and unloaded Manuel's scooter....this saved him so much walking. I wanted to walk and there was a lot of walking.
Again, like always, we got a lot of compliments on the scooter.
The bridge in the background is just so amazingly built.
A long distance picture of the commemoration of this park...
The readings on the sides...
This is a very amazing place. The bridge has eliminated a lot of traffic thru here as big rigs are not allowed through here. We saw only one motorhome go through here in the couple of hours we spent here. There is a lot of tourism here. The parking garage they have built here is really convenient.
The Dam...
Nevada Time...
A few steps away, the Arizona time.
We had a great visit here and now we will move on to the Lake Mead National Recreation Area....
