We had a great visit with Dave and Kathy Peters, whom we last saw about 3 or 4 years ago on their visit to San Antonio.
We met them through Mark and Sue Didelot while we were all in Red Bay, Alabama at the Tiffin Campground.
Today we drove to their house, visited and drank some wine then we headed to have lunch at Carlotta's Mexican Restaurant. We had a delicious lunch then they drove us to Saddlebrook, an exclusive community and to the Golf Club. There was a spectacular view of the Catalina Mountains there. I did not take my camera and regretted it. We were the closest you can get to the Catalina Mountains...
Anyway, our drive to their home was very scenic....prettier as we got closer to the Catalina Mountains.
I was so nice seeing Kathy and Dave again...we had such a nice visit catching up on things.
Their Kitty, thirteen year old Tiger is so pretty. He is so sleepy!
Dave has some 50 music going and we just really enjoyed our time with them.
They gave us a tour of their home and it is just gorgeous. They have a beautiful sight of the mountains from anywhere you sit in their house.
They have several bird feeders around the house and we sat in their kitchen table to eat our dessert (delicious key lime pie) and watched the birds.
We said our goodbyes and thank them for taking time to spend with us. We had such a nice visit...
We enjoyed our drive back...
Before we got back to LazyDays, the skies are turning really dark. There is lightening and it sprinkled a little but the winds and thunder are a little scary.
The sun is setting.... still very windy and cloudy. Looking in one direction from the coach...
and looking in the other direction...the rainbow.
Arizona has beautiful sunsets. We had a very awesome day visiting with great friends.
