We left the Lazydays Campground a little before 9 am. We had their continental breakfast for the last time this morning, which was free. We enjoyed our time there the last four nights. We are leaving the 108-110 degree weather to see what lies ahead... Today, we are headed to Las Cruces, New Mexico. Here are some pictures I took along our drive....
Even though it is pretty hot here, there seems to always be a breeze and it is not humid so it has been okay. We will stay on IH 10 until we get to San Antonio.
Nice mountains...
We have seen many pecan groves along the way....
The desert grass is pretty green this monsoon season.
New Mexico seems a little drier...
A vineyard...
and a corn field...
and more pecan trees. They have good irrigation here.
As we come down the hill, we see Las Cruses below.
The San Andres Mountains are really beautiful!
No rivers here so I guess this is just a basin they use for irrigating.
This park is very nice....we will stay one night and move on early in the morning.
They do not have a swimming pool (surprised since it is a resort) but they have a good size spa/hot tub. I checked it out and it was just warmed by the sun! No need to heat it here!!!
Our view from the front window of our coach. So pretty!
We had a good drive and will get a good night's rest to be ready to move on early.
