Lake Mead

Next we planned on having our lunch at Lake Mead...we tailgated. 

We decided we would have our lunch by the Marina...

 

We found us the spot with the best view

 

After eating, we drove to the cruises area...

Walked the bridge and found ducks...

and these huge fish.  I think they are catfish...

even a turtle in the center right...

there are bunches and bunches of 'em.....

Then we drove to the beach area...pretty nice and quite a few people are out even though it is really hot!

As we were driving through Boulder City,  we had to make a stop at this shop...

I used last night's winnings to buy some of these metal flowers....so neat!

These jets fly all day on practice missions.....

This was a fun day!
