Traveled from Fort Meade, MD to Fort Story, VA

This is the Fort Story harbor. This is right off the Atlantic Ocean. Fort Story is right at the tip, past Virginia Beach, VA.
The light house at Fort Story. Pictures are dark because it has been raining since we got here.
This is a retired light house at Fort Story.
The new and old light houses are right next to each other. Nice site.
We went to visit Robert, Yvette, Crista, Valera, Julia and Joel on Wednesday evening. We all squeezed into this picture.
The Esparza Family at their home in Chesapeake, VA.
Joel and Yvette. Manuel and I got their at about noon while the girls were at school.
Joel and Robert. Robert came home from work early and drove us around town this afternoon. We drove to Fort Monroe and found a really nice RV park their. We made our reservation and will move on Thursday. We all just toured the base.....it is really an old base. I will post pictures later. Robert is stationed at Portsmouth, Va. He is with the Coast Guard. We are very proud of him.
This little church, Saint Teresa, is at Fort Story Army Base. This is a very old base and has a lot of unique buildings. We stayed at this base two nights. We had no phone nor internet here so we decided to move to Fort Monroe.
We parked our RV and decided to go take a ride around base and found a bowling alley where we bought some pizza for Robert Jr and his family who will be coming over to visit us. This was a six lane bowling alley.
We are getting ready to enter the tunnel in Norfolk, Virginia. We did not expect this but here we go.....it is scary but we did it! We made it through!!! Here, you have to go through tunnels everywhere you go so I am getting a little better at going through them. I get very nervous and afraid our coach is too high.
We saw cotton fields and peanut fields coming from Maryland to Virginia.
We are now in Virginia and passing the James River. They have a beautiful bridge. These are reinforments.

This was a tree right outside our window at Fort Meade. It is very colorful.
Manuel is working out the maps.....
