Thursday at Burleson

Today was an easy going day.  We enjoyed our day.....

Janet, Shirley, Gisele and I visit in Mary and Jesse's coach...

After lunch, my Uncle Jacob and Wife, Valerie, who live here in Burleson, came by for a visit. 

I had not seen him since My Mom passed away last June.  He is my Mom's youngest brother.

In the evening, we gathered for dinner, pot luck, at the rally hall.

Look at Ed's name tag....he is also a Charter Member of the CRS (Can't Remember Shit) Club!

After dinner.....some are playing cards and others are playing dominos....We had fun.  I even won one.  Pat won the other.

Arrived in Burleson, TX

We left WinStar Casino RV Park at about 10:30 this morning for our hour and a half drive to Rustic Creek Ranch RV Park in Burleson, TX.

Yes, back in Texas!

Our drive was short.  We are now at Yogi Bear's Rustic Creek Ranch....

It sure is nice to see everyone here....great friends.

Rule #1, wear name tags and Rule #2, make sure flags are out.  Very patriotic.

The rally hall is very nice and I did not get any pictures of the inside yet.

More socializing.

Thirty of us went out to eat in Ponder, TX at The Ranchman's Steakhouse.

Many famous people have eaten here.  Look, even John Wayne, Manuel's favorite Cowboy!

 

All these folks are famous, too!  Recognize anyone?   I recognize all of them.   They are The Demontrond Travelers!!!

The Owner of the place is glad to have these many people on a Wednesday night...

WinStar Casino RV Park

We have had a great time while at WinStar Casino RV Park, especially since we were compted and got a couple of free buffets.

We have some cold weather....every day has been in the 50s and it started drizzling yesterday.  That has not stopped us from catching the shuttle to the Casino a couple of times a day.

We are parked side by side with The Lambes.  This is a really nice park.
