A Little More of St. Augustine

Today, we met at McDonalds for breakfast and then came back to the coach to rest.  It was a restful day.  We made plans to meet up for dinner at 4:30 pm.

We had dinner at Harry’s and we all enjoyed our meal…it was a good place to eat. This   restaurant was originally a home.  It was built in the 1700s.  It is in the Historic District of St. Augustine.

A look out the window as we went up to the 2nd floor of the restaurant.

This old building is now the Wells Fargo Bank; very nice looking building.

The streets are very narrow as they were back in the 1500s when the town was founded.  Difference is that they are now paved.  I love these old buildings…

A nice park…

When we were here last with the Srutkas, they were building/expanding this bridge.

The last time we were here, we visited this fort and it is so interesting. We did not go today but The Roberts and Ellisors did go and they enjoyed it.

This Cross is so awesome; it is so tall, you can see it from every part of the city.  We walked up there the last time and visited the church on site.  This is just a picture taken from the car as we drove by.

Tomorrow morning, we will move on to Daytona which is only 50+ miles.

More to come from Daytona.
