We drove to Corpus Christi to view the “Stolen Education” Train produced by My Nephew, Enrique Aleman, Ph.D.
When we arrived in Corpus, we met up with my youngest sister and her husband (Alma & Raul) for lunch. My older sister and husband (Dolores & Ray), rode with us from San Antonio. We enjoyed our time together.
We drove on to Texas A&M Corpus Christi, The Performing Arts Center.
Enrique Aleman, Jr., Ph.D., Assistant VP for Student Equity & Diversity and an Associate Professor at the University of Utah.
This project that taken him a few years to produce and has been an educational and personal journey for him as his Mother, Lupe Aleman, was the first to step on to the witness stand at the age of 9 years old in this case. There were three of my sisters and three cousins testifying at a very, very young age. Very interesting case that changed the lives of many. His Mother, My Sister, lost her battle with cancer at the young age of 55.
Mr. Rudy Luna was Writer, Director, Cinematographer in this documentary and did a great job.
