Service At the Post Chapel

We attended service at the post Chapel this morning.  This is a beautiful building.

These pictures don’t do it justice but it is a very beautiful place of worship.

They have a huge organ pipe and the Adult Choir sang beautifully.

The stain glass all around was so beautiful, too.  This window was donated in 1937 and all were donated around the same time.

This is a small chapel to the side of the main alter.

It was difficult to read this plaque since it is very faded but this building was

Dedicated by William Howard Taft, President of the United States, Oct. 1909.

They have Catholic, Protestant and Jewish services here.  We attended the Protestant service today; the message was good. 

We received a very warm welcome here as did other newcomers.  They had a nice reception after the service.
