As we left, there was still a lot of thunder heads, like Nancy called them, but it is not raining. We drove along The Spokane River and through the beautiful mountains.
We drove through the 4th of July Pass....
Over the rivers and through the woods....
Past forest fires have destroyed a lot of the trees in this area...
We just went out of North Idaho and into Montana on I 90. Later we will go back into Central Idaho.
Nancy had told us this place was a nice place to visit, so we stopped for a little shopping.
We stopped for a while....there is a lot to see here.
"On The Road Again....Oh, How We Love To Be On The Road....
Many large farms and ranches on this road...
Loved the sight of this small church in the mountains...
Passed through many old towns, one of which had a casino named "The Silver Slipper" or maybe it was a strip joint!!??
Going through the Lost Trail Pass was a little nerve wrecking for me but a beautiful ski area....
As we are going through the pass, the sky looks really dark over the mountains.
Looks like we are heading straight to bad weather but we did not get any rain, just a few sprinkles here and there.
Looks like the sky is falling!
I took a lot of pictures again so will publish a separate post.....
