This morning we left early even though we were having a light rain....More beautiful scenery as we drove from Hurricane to Bryce National Park. Check for yourself....
We had light rain off and on all day but it worked out good since we were in and out of the car. Today we had really cool weather. The high was 76 and the low up at the top of the mountains was 56 at 9115 elevation. Pretty cool!
Some mountains were dark with the black rock...
This tunnel was built in 1930 and it is 1.1 mile....
We spotted some mountain goats and big horn sheep/rams...
The checker board mountain....
We spotted some buffalo....
Driving through the Dixie National Forest was awesome....
The day was never sunny so these pictures came out pretty good regardless....
We are almost at the park since the mountains are changing again....
Some kids climbing...
Other things we saw as we passed by some towns....This is a popcorn machine.
Bunches and bunches of tennis, shoes and some hats.
The Fort Zion shops....
Our first time to eat at an In-N-Out. It was delicious!
Next I will post pictures of Bryce National Park.
