Today, Wednesday, George and Nancy picked us up for a trip to Sandpoint. The weather is great; many cyclists out on The Spokane River...This bridge is really convenient for cyclist.
The railroad also runs through the Spokane River. Railing is very popular here. It is a big part of transporting items.
Sandpoint is known as the west's greatest railroading towns. I
We walked the historic district's shops....very nice town.
The historic theatre is now playing "Grease" which is a sing-a-long.
Right in the center of downtown is the gateway to the sandy beaches....Sand Creek.
Nancy and I really enjoyed the shops...
The guys shopped but they were also patient and sat around and waited for us. This is a nice bench crafted by a local artist.
Our next stop is Schweitzer Mountain Resort....
