1st Day in NJ/NYC

New York City at night. We thought Las Vegas was the city of lights.....well NYC is beautiful at night as well as daytime. We enjoyed our guided tour today by Richard and Patsy King. We walked, walked, ate dinner and then walked some more. We rode the subway into downtown and back to the RV Park. Had a great time.

Times Square.
Rode the subway back to our RVs. Richard and Patsy showed us a really nice day since they are experts getting around the City.
Manuel as we find the right subway to get home.
Macy's toy area. They had huge stuffed animal displays. This Macy's had 8 floors. It is a huge store.
The salesman offered to take our picture by a huge stuffed elephant.
We had coffee and a snack at the Au Bon Pain on the 8th floor in Macy's.
More pictures ...

The waiter took our photo as we had dinner at Olive Garden. The restaurant is spread out over three floors.

They had the M&M Store and a Hershey Store.

Hot Dog Stands at almost every corner.
Carnegie Hall......

Trump Tower was beautiful. It had beautiful water falls and cafe.
We went into Tiffany's and walked around. It was really nice, too. These guys riding these buggy tricycles are like taxis. They wait outside the stores to drive people from store to store. It is a lot of walking.
The department stores are really nice and are several stories high. They have neat display windows.
This picture is on the building right across the street from St. Patrick's Cathedral. It is odd because it is the first thing you see as you exit the cathedral.
This is St. Patrick's Cathedral. The architecture is awsome. These pictures don't do it much justice. The place is huge. I think this is where Thalia, the Mexican Novela star and Singer, got married to Tony Motola, the Producer. Many other famous people have married here.
The inside of St. Patrick's Cathedral.

This is the St. Thomas Cathedral. There are many churches in the Manhattan area.
We are on the subway into NYC. The ride there was quick.
Subway.....

We started our day by having breakfast with Joe and Sylvia Ramirez, cousins from Summit, NJ. Joe is originally from Robstown, TX and Sylvia is originally from Alice, TX.
