Fort Smith National Historic Park

We met the Srutka's Friends, Donny and Janie, for lunch then  we headed to this Historic area of Fort Smith, Arkansas.

We toured the museum.  There is so much history here. The Fort was established in 1817 to maintain peace between the Indians and non-Indian settlers.  This Civil War was known as "The Trail of Tears.
