Chama is a little bit bigger than Antonito and a neat place to visit. There is a lot of Railway history here.
By the time we arrived here, we were hungry so we looked for a place to stop.
A nice mural at the visitors center.
This is the place we picked for lunch and someone is in a hurry!!
The saloon area....kind of dark in here.
We had a delicious lunch and now that someone poses for me with the cowboy. Carved bears are everywhere.
Some beautiful flowers outside the restaurant....
We are ready to see the town....
Wow! They still have a standing drive-in theatre here.....but closed.
Old town....
A beautiful, small church.
We made a stop at one RV Park since Lynn and Carla will be traveling here. This park was pretty nice and it can accommodate 40' MHs but they are really busy in July.
The name of the park is Rio Chama RV Park....575-756-2303. Carla or Lynn, if you need the info, we got a brochure but won't see you before then.
We cross the Chama River as we head back to the park.
We are having a great time....pictures of the Rail Station later.
