We all met again at the Lodge at 7 pm for social and music.
The Birthday Girl.... Linda served brownies and ice cream!
Linda, in the green, serves the ice cream....
Take a look at the 1800s stove in The Lodge...original pans, too.
and the 1800s refrigerator.
It has been nice gathering with these folks....Texas is largely represented here; so is Oklahoma and New Mexico.
John and Chris tune their guitars....
Miss Claire, Chris' daughter, joins them in singing. This girl can sing.
Chris introduced her and told us she has been chosen to audition out of 9000 performers to be on X Factor. Simon, the ex-judge on American Idol has begun a new show and she is to hear from them in the next week or so, whether she continues. Let's all vote for Miss Claire. She is a great performer. She has talent: sings and plays the guitar.
We sat around and listened to them until 10 pm. Great songs!
They are from Pipe Creek, Texas just up the road from San Antonio by Bandera.
Chris dedicated a song to Manuel....."ole San Antone". Thank you, Chris.
We all said good night and headed to our camps sites. We had a great evening.
Thank you, John and Linda for such a great time here at your Park.
