We had another busy day today at Red Oak Ranch RV Park. We arrived at 8 am for breakfast. After breakfast, we had the scheduled club meeting. Margaret, Lynn and Dean enjoy breakfast.
So does Marge....
This is a meeting of the minds....The Executive Committee of the Club. Lee Helstrom, who has his back to the camera, is signing up as a member of the club.
At about 11:30 we head out to Brenham to a restaurant highly recommended. There are beautiful farms and ranches in this area. I was trying to take a photo of the Oreo Cows in this area but could not catch a good picture.
Brenham is the home of Blue Bell Ice Cream...
We arrived at the "Must Be Heaven" Restaurant.
Nice place...
They have a lot of Children's pictures decorating the walls....
Nice wall art, too.
The Tea Room was just beautifully decorated....
Back in the large dining room area....
The kitchen area....all workers are busy preparing lunch!
George and Manuel wait for us to take pictures and for the rest of the crew to arrive.
Janet joins them....
I liked this sign....this is the name of our Daughter In Law's catering company in San Antonio.
The rest of the crew arrives....
Jim & LaVerne Fisher and George & Pat Franklin...
Lynn & Carla Roberts and Shirley and Dean Parker....
George & Janet Lambe and Manuel and I....
A few pictures as we drive thru Brenham....
Here they advertise Registered Texas Longhorns for sale!!
A beautiful historic home.....
Some old cars....
really old pick up parts!
Back at the Red Oak RV Park, we gather at the club house to play cards at 2 pm followed by some line dancing lessons by the Club Treasurer, Eloise.
There were about 12-14 people trying to learn to line dance....
Then it is time for dinner....as we wait, Buddy pays George a visit. I guess he gets another citation for not wearing his name tag! Poor George got caught twice! Buddy collected a total of $4.25 throughout the weekend. Good Job, Buddy!
Dinner is served and we are now ready to play some bingo.
These are all the Bingo Winners for the night. Yes, I won, too!!!
We have had a wonderful 10 days of visiting with friends.....tomorrow, we will say our good-byes.
