Carving Pumpkins with Granddaughters

Friday afternoon, we went to see Larissa and Arianna and to carve the pumpkins for Halloween. 

First, we carved Arianna's while we waited for Lari to get home from School.

    

 

We waited at the bus stop, then Lari's bus arrived.....

They posed for me a couple of times before we got home.....

      

Now Lari tells me what she wants done to her pumpkin.....

We are all done.   The girls will be going to spend time with Mom at the Steakhouse so Arianna gets all ready....

      

Grandma is not too fancy in the carving but we try to have fun doing this every year!

Didelots Leave

This Tuesday morning, The Didelots leave our house to stay with some friends in San Marcos.

Before leaving, Mark and Manuel repaired the slide-out awning.   It would not roll in when they put the slide-out in. 

Then they are on their way....

Sunday at Chuck E Cheese

We celebrated Arianna's 4th Birthday at Chuck E Cheese.  She was so excited, woke up early and wanted to get ready for the Party!

      

        

They place the Birthday Metal on her....               In the ticket booth.....how many tickets will they get?!!

She has had a big smile all day!  She is so happy!     Tia Cory arrives at the party....

      

She got a lot of nice presents.....

 

Then come the rides and games....

Lari and her cousin, Leslie.

Arianna's Birthday at The Pumpkin Patch

Saturday was Arianna's 4th Birthday so after a late breakfast, we headed out the a Pumpkin Patch. 

The girls had a great time and I did too, taking pictures of them among all the pumpkins.

So much energy....they do not get tired!!

We then went to Bill Miller Bar-B-Q for some lunch.   Arianna holds a drumstick while Dad wishes her a Happy Birthday

over the phone.

After eating their meal, they share a fruit bowl.

Playing games at home....

I made chile and corn bread for dinner.  

Sue made Arianna's favorite:   Strawberry pie.   She loves strawberries!!

We light the candles and sing....

mmmmmmm.......

Arianna had a wonderful Birthday and tomorrow, Sunday, we will celebrate it at Chuck E Cheese.
