Iowa, Missouri and Kansas

We drove about 300 miles.  Drove through Iowa, Missouri and Kansas.  We left Des Moines, Iowa at about 9 am. Here are some pictures along our route.

The temperature this morning was about 34, see the frost on the roof of the building and the grass? 

Today was nice and sunny but cool.   We went through many rivers, creeks and lakes.

Terrible's Casino.  We visited a Terrible's in Pahrump, Nevada a couple of years ago. 

We entered in to Missouri. 

Where the buffalo roam....

Not many pictures in Missouri so we enter into Kansas and on through Kansas City.

We saw a couple of Race Cars....

We stopped after we passed Kansas City to have lunch....

Back on the road....

Our destination for the night is Emporia....

 

Tomorrow we will head out early and try to make Thackerville, Oklahoma (Winstar Casino).
