We drove about 250 miles today to our destination in Des Moines, Iowa. I took this time to catch up on my email and to check blogs that I had not checked in a while.
Here are a few pictures taken along our route. We left the Mystic Lake Casino which is in Lake Prior, MN. We had a great time here with our Friends, Dave and Sandy.
Looking at the park, the leaves are so colorful....just beautiful.

We passed this pumpkin patch several times and yesterday and today they were picking the pumpkins.
Could not get a clear picture, nice sight. As soon as we get home, we will be buying our pumpkins to carve
with Larissa and Arianna! Sure they are ready!!!
On the road again.....
The Air Force Thunderbirds....nice looking display.
All we saw today was bean and corn fields. They are working the lands.
We are exiting Minnesota; Loved it in Minnesota!!!
And into Iowa...
Iowa is known for its Silos and Smoke Stacks.....
The Visitors Center is really neat....A barn-like building with its silo and smokestack....
The Casino is right next door; it also has a silo and smokestack..

There comes Manuel out of the elevator..... This gentleman was so helpful and he gave us maps and showed us places of interest.
Found this in the gift shop.....I like that.
After lunch, we head back to the coaches.
On the road again, On the road again......
A lot of energy being produced here....they are along both sides of the road.
Fields are prepped and made ready for replanting...then the corn and bean fields....
Several rivers along the way.
I finally got to catch up on my email, etc.

This was a huge tank or something....really wide, too.
And we arrive at our destination, home for the night is Wal-Mart. A river runs along the parking lot.
We are set for the night! Will have dinner at the Lambe's tonight.
Tomorrow we will tour the area....Until then.
