We arrived early at the FamCamp. We got a really good site with full hook ups. we were at this same park a few years ago and it was packed. The host said almost everyone left today so we lucked out...

We are all set up and Manuel called his friend, Mando Lopez, who works here at Hill AFB. When they closed Kelly AFB in San Antonio, some of the co-workers decided to transfer to Hill AFB and Mando was one of them. He told Manuel he would be right over to see him....He was right over and wanted to take us for a ride up the Mountains......
Mando and Manuel.....every time we make a stop at Hill, they see each other so they were happy to see each other again....
Up we go toward the Powder Mountains...just a beautiful drive. I am taking pics from the backseat....
We are right up close to the mountains....it is much cooler here.
The Oldest High School in Ogden....
He drives us up into Ogden Canyon....
and on to the Pineview Reservoir. Wow! Just beautiful...
There are many boaters out as it is a gorgeous day.
A pretty little church always at the foothills of the mountains...
